This EGT gauge kits come with a 1/8 NPT type K thermocouple EGT probe that can be installed to either your exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe also comes with weld on bung for alternative installation on the header

a very accurate gauge, easy to read and very fast to react to differences in temperature, recommended. and if you have a disco, buy the frame as well, no messing it makes install simple and stock looking.

I fitted this easily, it is a little fiddly at times, give yourself a couple of hours of time, I fitted mine to a 300 TDI, and I put it between the cigarette lighter and rear window wiper switch and I got the power from the window wiper switch and earthed it to the bulk head, the probe wire colour’s are different to the instructions but it just makes the gauge go backwards, I switched them round and it works well, this is a must when your tuning the engine with the boost pin and ring.
