Land Rover Td5 EGR Blanking Plate used to reduce emissions caused by a build up of grease, soot and oil in the EGR Valve (Exhaust Re-circulation Valve). This build up can cause your engine to feel lacking in power or produce excess black smoke.
The EGR Blanking plate is designed to prevent waste gases, grease, oil and soot re-entering the engine.
