Adaptor for centre differential stake nut to allow tightening by standard 1/2″ drive socket tools.

When rebuilding a transfer box, this essential tool is for tigtening down the stake nut which retains the bearings.

Rebuilding a transfer box can be done with most common workshop tools, this socket is the only specialist tool not usually found in the workshop and is essential for tightening the stakenut to the correct torque value, during a transfer box rebuild operation, the stakenut is torqued and removed several times to check for correct tollerances, before the final torque and the stakenut set.

Application: LT230R and LT230T transfer gearboxes.
