Firstly, the led installed in a charge light location does not quite draw enough current to excite the alternator (2w to 5w look it up) to make it charge correctly so will not work correctly for alot of series 3s, (they need a better ballest)

Secondly the the build quality is not that great, my pack all of the leds spun round inside the metal screw parts making it a pain to screw in and eventually breaking the top off. Had to dab a touch of superglue to the coller to stop this.

Haveing said that, once you figure out the drawbacks, they are nice and bright and should last a while , just dont install them in your charge light or oil pressure light locations, stick to old fashioned bulbs.

Really brightens up my series 3 dashboard, I can now see the dials without having to squint, really bright and clear. The blue indicator light for headlight full beams glows really brightly and takes a little getting used of. The other indicator lights for oil pressure and battery charging go out once engine is running, so not a concern for those. Give the dash a more modern look, on a good way.

The replacement Bulbs fit perfectly and make the dashboard of my series 3 Land Rover look much nicer at nighttime. I can fully recommend these Bulbs.
