The Original Product - The Boost Ring® - Another performance mod for your Land Rover 200 or 300 tdi engine.
This little ring drops into your fuel pump giving you mid range performance gains on your diesel engine. Fitting takes just a few minutes.
Full installation video Below
This spacer ring allows more travel on the control piston for the timing advance within the fuel pump. This allows slightly more advanced timing at higher revs, allowing the power to remain longer before it flattens out at the top end.
This means a stronger pulling engine.
This is a tuning product. By fitting this, you will elevate the level of tune in your engine. Running higher cylinder pressures will expose any engine weaknesses. Fit this product entirely at your own risk. We recommend fitting an "Exhaust Gas Temperature" guage so that you can monitor your engine and react accordingly.

A simple item with a big influence on performance from John S on 06/06/2021
With the boost ring installed in conjunction with the boost pin the transformation of my 130 Defender has been amazing, With my trailor attached able to do hill starts with minimum effort compared to pre mods and a lot less smoke, highway motoring is easier as the motor is running a lot freer and can now actually give a good interpretation of being able to accelerate. EGTs are either the same or actually a few degrees less than before the pin and boost ring were installed. The jury is still out on the effects on fuel usage. Overall a excellent product and for the price a massive return on investment

All good from Mike Aubert on 07/04/2021
Nicely made item. I was a bit confused as the video showed 2 springs under the cap in the pump and on my 200Tdi I only had one, but after checking the parts manual I stopped worrying! A bit of a pain to get the old torx screws out so take care not to round them off. New parts fitted well (if not easily due to space restrictions) and while its difficult to feel any difference with this modification being done on its own (I previously have tuned the pin etc), it makes sense that this has to work from looking at the design and operation of the pump.
