The Original Product - The Boost Ring® - Another performance mod for your Land Rover 200 or 300 tdi engine.
This little ring drops into your fuel pump giving you mid range performance gains on your diesel engine. Fitting takes just a few minutes.
Full installation video Below
This spacer ring allows more travel on the control piston for the timing advance within the fuel pump. This allows slightly more advanced timing at higher revs, allowing the power to remain longer before it flattens out at the top end.
This means a stronger pulling engine.
This is a tuning product. By fitting this, you will elevate the level of tune in your engine. Running higher cylinder pressures will expose any engine weaknesses. Fit this product entirely at your own risk. We recommend fitting an "Exhaust Gas Temperature" guage so that you can monitor your engine and react accordingly.

Customer ratings for Boost Ring® - for 200Tdi 300Tdi
Nicely made item. I was a bit confused as the video showed 2 springs under the cap in the pump and on my 200Tdi I only had one, but after checking the parts manual I stopped worrying! A bit of a pain to get the old torx screws out so take care not to round them off. New parts fitted well (if not easily due to space restrictions) and while its difficult to feel any difference with this modification being done on its own (I previously have tuned the pin etc), it makes sense that this has to work from looking at the design and operation of the pump.
very good and easy to install from Theo Van Ham on 29/03/2021
Installed the Boost ring together with Morgan Hill Boost pin, Pressure gauge set and boost controller set.
All together this was making a huge difference in torque in my 200TDI. Hardly any additional smoke when applied all together.
I rate the product very well. from Darryl Pooley on 03/03/2021
The Boost Ring fitted in conjunction with a Boost Pin gives plenty of Oomph. I did not expect the difference in power in the lower gears, but to be honest its really very good and I'm chuffed to bits. A little awkward to fit (you need very small hands) and lots of patience, but its well worth the effort.
